"Next to being at home, this was the best place I have ever taken Dakota to stay! He loved the cage-free atmosphere, the meadow runs and doggy play time with the other 'guests'. I picked him up and he was happy and exhausted after his long weekend of romping and close personal attention. Believe me - I'm very picky! Dakota is very high maintenance with his allergies and I never once worried that he'd fall through the cracks due to missed medication doses, etc. Attention to detail is first and foremost here. He's scheduled to come back next month when we go away on spring break and I have no worries about his separation anxiety because he'll be on his own doggy vacation while we're away!" "We boarded our two medium sized dogs with Gail at Stone Meadow Farm - their prices were very reasonable especially compared to a 'cage boarding facility'. The dogs get top notch treatment and all the affection they can handle - all in a setting that treats them like they're special and worthy. They interact with other dogs and get the social time they need with their own species. In fact, they probably had a better vacation than we did!! "Our dog, Norman does TERRIBLE at regular kennels. He hates being cooped up in a cage. Stone Meadow was abolutely wonderful for him. He got to do his favorite things.......go for walks, swim in the pool and play with other dogs. There is never an "adjustment" period to get "back to normal" when we pick Norman up from Stone Meadow.
