All dogs boarding at Stone Meadow Farm spend fun-filled days in Doggie Daycare playing together, chasing balls, catching frisbees & getting long belly rubs. Canine guests enjoy plenty of off-leash exercise in huge, quarter-acre meadows and in our indoor 2500sqft play area. A brisk morning walk is a standard feature & enjoyed year round. Doggie pools are a favorite summer activity on sunny afternoons. Canine campers love to splash & play or just relax in the refreshingly cool water. At Stone Meadow Farm every day ends with a long, leisurely nature walk over scenic paths that wind through the woods & around ponds.
Happy and tired canine guests remain cage-free all through the night & have the luxury of sleeping on pillow-topped raised cots or therapeutic mats at no extra charge. Each guest receives a bed-time snack & hug and is tucked in with a favorite blankie from home after an extra long belly rub. First-time boarders go home with a complimentary doggie bag of treats, surprise gift & a report card for parents. After check-out parents can view a free personal web page of photos & videos featuring their dog's fun-filled stay with us.
We accept for boarding a very limited number of dogs at a time so you can be confident that your dog will receive an abundance of quality individual attention. We believe that simply providing dogs with food, water and shelter is not enough! To really thrive dogs require interaction with humans & other dogs. Adequate mental & physical stimulation is needed to maintain optimal health.
Confining a dog to a lonely room or to a restrictive chain-link run for days on end with nothing to do to pass the time except pace back and forth, lie down, get up...just to lie down again.....as the hours go slowly by is NOT our way of doing things at Stone Meadow Farm. Our boarding concept enables all of our boarders to remain cage-free throughout their stay. Adequate daily exercise and interactive games keep our boarders free from boredom.

Stone Meadow Farm is situated on over ten acres in Edinburg Township, a peaceful and friendly rural neighborhood in Portage County. We are conveniently located minutes from I-76, I-77 and the Ohio Turnpike and easily accessible from Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Warren and all of NE Ohio.
We are a family-owned and operated boarding facility committed to providing the best of care for all our canine guests. We live on the property providing 24-hour hands-on supervision of our boarders. In addition to over 40 years experience in dog care we have completed training through the Pet Care Services Association (formerly known as the American Boarding Kennels Association) and we continuously strive to keep abreast of current updates in canine training and health care.
We do not warehouse dogs. Our outstanding reputation is based on quality, not quantity. The excellent care provided for each boarder requires that we accept a very limited number of boarders daily. Spoiling, brushing, walking & talking with dogs is our passion. We truly enjoy every aspect of caring for dogs and we specialize in catering to each individual dog's needs. We continuously interact with our boarders throughout their stay. You can feel confident that your dog will be pampered and played with at Stone Meadow Farm by experienced & knowledgeable dog lovers because we have the time and desire to do so.
